The Sun

Allowing children during meal times and serving inexpensive drinks and food, the Sun remains the best value for money all rounder in Redhill.

Being a Weatherspoons pub, there is no music, tv or enticing bleeps coming out of fruit machines, however the pub doesn’t lack any ambience even though it’s a large, open plan pub.

You either love or hate the Sun. It attracts a younger crowd but the same old faces can be seen day in day out. Old pictures of Redhill and other pictures are dotted around the pub.

The attraction is in its great value for money drinks and meals. Where else can you get a curry and a round of drinks for under a fiver!

Well I happen to work there sometimes and yeah it attracts the pikeys an the regulars, but it has a good atmosphere and the staff are always up for a laugh!!

Oo-eer! Watch out for the dole-scroungers in there on payday... minus their usually obligatory can of Tenants Super. No smoking at the bar, no music, only fruities. Good only cos of the extreme cheapness of the food and drink. But that's it. My advice: go in, drink five pints as quick as you can, then get the hell out.
