Nice pub with fluctuating punter numbers. Could be packed upstairs one Friday/Saturday or almost empty the next, weird.

This pub is one of the few in the area with a late license on Fridays and Saturdays, the holy grail of Reigate pub life. Unfortunately the council have slapped a time limit to when you are allowed to get in at night so don't shoot the guys on the doors, you can’t have everything. An entertainment license has been requested so expect more events to go on in the pub in future.

I visit this pub mostly when in Reigate as it’s got a nice crowd and good atmosphere, the bouncers are always friendly too. I mustn’t spend another Christmas Eve here but I can’t think of anywhere else in Reigate (need to get more of a life)! If you are wanting to eat and wander hungry into this pub, then hold back, needs improvement in this area.

Holy crap they painted it?!?!? Is my memory that bad? Used to have fun when a mate of one of my best friends was Assistant Manager... lock-ins with them dancing to awful pop music... Normally avoid it now, but if I get back to R&R, I may be forced to drink there on account of getting used to drinking till 2 or 3am... depending on who else has a late licence.
