The Cage

The Cage

So called as the pub is situated on the site of one of Reigate’s old gaols, now a courtyard and an entrance to the Safeway complex. The Cage is a multi-storey pub and has a classy feel. The top bar is a nice place to hang out. The courtyard is great for drinking with friends on summer evenings and has a curious monument that no one can work out what it is and why it’s there.

The Cage is a nice pub and a great place to start off your evening in Reigate or perhaps stay and try to be classy with the rest (don’t worry, it won’t be too hard!).

Attracts the gays....thought it was a gay bar for about a year! Not that theres anything wrong with that. Just shows they have taste....love the cage loads.

What a poncy place... it initially started out as a whine bar (no spelling mistake!!) had San Miguel on tap at once stage... hee hee... that's where I was drinking the night I lost my virginity to my first close girlfriend in the (ahem) Priory! So of course, while I hate it, I have a fond memory of it.
